Good Healthcare

There are quite a few reliable international hospitals on the island that cater to the expat community in Dominica. Get good insurance coverage and enjoy your time on the island after your Dominica citizenship by investment has come through. If you have health concerns, you may want to live in one of the larger cities, which have the best facilities and hospitals. Here are some of the hospitals and their location that you should take note of-

  1. PRINCESS MARGARET HOSPITAL- Goodwill, Roseau
  2. MARIGOT HOSPITAL- Marigot,
  3. PORTSMOUTH HOSPITAL- Portsmouth
  4. GRAND BAY HOSPITAL- Portsmouth

Pleasant Climate

Dominica has a tropical climate with an all-year-round warm and humid climate typical of the Tropics. During the cooler months of June to August and September to November, seasonal mean temperatures vary from 20 to 25 °C to 25 to 27 °C. Most places receive at least 100 to 200 mm of rain each month during the wet season, which lasts from May to November.

What does this translate to? A life that is a constant holiday with endless beach days and, at the same time, filled with lush greenery thanks to the rain showers and lack of harsh winters!

Amazing Geography

Dominica is a part of the Lesser Antilles volcanic range, and its terrain is very mountainous. About 15 miles north of Roseau, on the Morne Diablotins, is where it reaches its highest peak. It is also the ninth-highest peak among all Caribbean mountains at 1,447 m (4,747 ft). The second-highest peak in the nation is Morne Trois Pitons, which is also one of the largest boiling lakes in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Its unique landscape, complete with high mountains and sandy beaches, has earned it the name “Nature Island” of the Caribbeans. The island of Dominica is distinguished by its volcanic activity, which has produced various distinctive features such as black sand beaches, volcanic vents, and walls of red rock. While on the island, you can discover some amazing beaches.

Colorful culture

Dominican culture is a complex fusion of various influences from throughout the world. With native Tano and African influences, the Dominican people and their traditions also have a European (Spanish) touch.

People from Dominica are hospitable, funny, and eager to share everything that makes them truly Dominicans. Dominicans love to dance to bachata and merengue. Since the middle of the 19th century, Dominica has included merengue in its musical repertoire, which is the style most frequently associated with that country. Spanish and English are spoken throughout the island, so you don’t have to worry about having a difficult time communicating with the locals.

With your Dominica citizenship by investment, you gain access to a vibrant island life of this beautiful Caribbean nation.
