According to recent confirmation, Justin Trudeau, the prime minister of Canada, wants to “maintain the rule of law in Canada [and] continue to do [what it takes] to keep Canadians safe.”
Concerns have been raised that tensions may jeopardize or adversely affect Canada’s ability to process visas for Indian people amid the ongoing diplomatic spat between India and Canada following the June murder of Canadian-Sikh Hardeep Singh Nijjar.
At the time of writing, there has been no indication in any source that Canada will change the way it processes Indian nationals’ visa applications—either by accepting new ones or processing those that already exist.
