The North Atlantic Ocean and the Barents Sea are both visible from Norway’s long coastline. County and municipality are the two levels of administrative and political subdivision in Norway. According to the World Bank and IMF, the nation’s per-capita income is the fourth highest in the world. Since 2009, Norway has been ranked as having the highest Human Development Index in the world, a position it also held from 2001 to 2006.
